Description
Each summer in Provence, fields and fields of soft purple lavender yield a fragrant harvest, which has long been considered one of the most desirable scents in classic European perfumery. Its delicate flower has lent its name to a color, and the fragrance from the leaf is fresh, green and floral. Together with notes of sage, bergamot, rose and teas this sun-drenched scent is clean and purifying.

A green, masculine expression of lavender
Lavender as a flower is actually masculine. Grassy and soft. Soothing and woodsy. So my favorite expression of lavender isn't the bubblegum sweet, synthetic version, it's the one that's closest to the natural expression. This candle does a great job of showcasing lavender. Green, floral and soft it's my go-to candle in the spring. Definitely recommend.

My daughter loves these!
My daughter is very much a candle person, always looking for the perfect one. She bought this lavender leaves last year. It's her favorite candle (and she's had many). I bought four at Christmas and just bought four more for her birthday. It must be great!

Lavender has been my all time favortie
I'm not sure what has changed. The Signature Lavender I recently purchased was not the same as those in the past. This one did not have the lovely cold throw or nice burning throw as those in the past. A bit disappointing. Of note, when I received this order, there was a lot of oil coagulating on top...unusual. Not sure why the separation happened, but did seem to make a difference during burning. Because of the expense, I typically only order these for special occasions. Not sure I will do so again. Maybe it was just a "bad batch", but for Bendel, this should be unacceptable. With that order, I also ordered a few of their "off label" candles, which immediately reminded me of the cheap smelling line from Bath & Body Works. Those, I brought to work and placed in the Ladies Room as "Free to Good Home". Of all the years purchasing Bendel, this was the most anti-climatic. I believe I will try another supplier, possibly a more "natural/organic" field. Lavender Leaves was my "go to" for any gift requests. Not so sure anymore....... If it's not broke, don't fix it.

Simply my favorite candle ever.
My kids know this is a “go to-win” for me as a birthday or Christmas gift. Always arrives safely packed and the scent remains amazing for the life of the candle. Can not recommend this enough!
