Duties & Taxes

  • eShopWorld will collect your Duties during Checkout.
  • If your country participates in eShopWorld, we'll automatically direct you to eShopWorld's Checkout. We'll calculate all applicable import charges (VAT, duties and/or taxes) at that time. You can also select your country from the country selection drop down found on our homepage.

Order Basics

  • Your order total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when you place your order. eShopWorld determines foreign exchange rates, based on interbank rates of exchange. These rates correspond with the average aggregate exchange rates that would, otherwise, apply in an e-commerce transaction.
  • We'll bill you for your full order amount, including any backordered items, when you place your order.
  • Payment methods vary by destination; depending on your "Ship To" country. Please note, we are unable to accept your Henri Bendel A-list Credit Card, Gift Cards or eGift Cards as forms of payment on eShopWorld international orders.
  • Gift Cards are not available for purchase on eShopWorld orders. eGift Cards are available for purchase but can only be redeemed for orders placed and shipped in the U.S.

All eShopWorld international orders are processed through Standard Delivery Service at a flat fee of $25 and will be delivered in approximately 10-14 days from date of receipt.

Transit times are expressed in business days, and exclude weekends and public holidays.

Transit time measurements exclude shipments delayed by exceptions caused by customs delays, weather, invalid address provided and other unforeseen circumstances.


Unused merchandise with price tags attached may be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Monogram items are not valid for return unless damaged.

Items purchased at a discount over 50% are final sale and cannot be returned.

What you'll need: Your order number and email address

  • To receive a refund, log into the eShopWorld Returns Service Portal using your email address and order number, and select the items you are returning.
  • Print your unique, bar-coded return label from either the Returns Service Portal or your Return Request confirmation email.
  • Box up your items with your completed Return form; click here to print a form.
  • You are responsible for the cost of any merchandise you wish to return to your return center.
    1. Choose a prepaid, insured, traceable delivery service.
    2. We'll send a second email when your package arrives at our Return Center for verification and refund processing. Please note, refunds are subject to verification.

Please allow us up to 14 days to process of your request from the time we receive it.

Gift wrapping and monogram fees and any associated duty and taxes will not be refunded, except when product arrive damaged or incorrect products have been shipped.

About the European Union (EU) Consumer Right of Return and Refund ("Cooling Off Period"):

  • You have the right to withdraw from your purchase at any time up to 14 days after you receive your last item. If you wish to do so, visit the eShopWorld Returns Service Portal and select "Cancel Order."
  • You are responsible for shipping cost to the EU Return Center.
  • We'll cancel all pending backordered items.
  • We'll confirm your Cancellation Request with an email; we'll send a second email when your package arrives at our Return Center for verification and refund processing.
  • Look for your refund of the merchandise cost, Shipping & Handling and any applicable duties and taxes within 14 business days.

Duty Drawback


  • Shopper returns goods because they were damaged, incorrect, or any issue Henri Bendel is responsible for.
  • European Union Consumer Right of Return and Refund.

Only available in the following countries;

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Canada.

*Cost of goods, shipping, duties and taxes will be refunded if package is returned as undeliverable (i.e. carrier unable to deliver to address provided.)

These countries are restricted from all shipments: Afghanistan, Antarctica, British Indian Ocean Territory, Bouvet Island, Christmas Islands, Cocos Islands, Comoros, Crimea Region of Ukraine, Cuba, Falkland Islands, French Southern Territories, Heard & McDonlad Islands, Iran, Libya, Mayotte, Myanmar (Burma), Nauru, Niue, Helena, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, St. Pierre and Miquelon, Sudan, Svalbard Jan Mayen Island, Syrian Arabic Republic, Tokelau, and Western Sahara.
