How To Shop Online
- To add items to your Bendel Bag, click on “Add to my Bendel Bag” on the details page of the item you would like to purchase.
- To change the quantity of items in your Bendel Bag, change the number in the box under “Quantity” column and click “Update my Bendel Bag.”
- Provide the city, state, and zip code information where you would like us to ship your order. Please spell out the city name. Abbreviations and misspellings can result in errors.
- If the address you have entered is the same as the credit card billing address, please check the box labeled “Use this address as my billing address.”
- If you are sending a gift, please fill out the recipient’s shipping address. Please view the Gifts section for further information.
- You may edit the shipping address while at this step in the checkout process.
- After entering the shipping address, you may select your shipment method for your order.
- Charges will be applied depending on your shipment method selection.
- If you are sending a gift, please check the box marked “This order is a gift”. Gift receipts without the price will be included.
- You may also add a personalized message to the gift order. The message can be up to 100 characters.
- Enter your credit card information and the expiration date.
- Be sure to check that your information is correct.
- To change the order information, you may go back to previous steps by clicking on the steps displayed on the top of the ordering pages.
- Once your order is submitted, an order confirmation page and order number will appear on your screen.
- You will also receive a confirmation email when your transaction is accepted.
- You will receive an additional email when your order has been shipped.
- This email will provide the FedEx tracking number.
- Please keep all transaction emails for your records.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and Discover Cards. At this time, we do not accept Henri Bendel credit cards but, we will add this feature soon. We do not accept cash or checks as a form of payment online.

Shipping & Handling
All orders are usually processed between 5-7 business days (excluding Holidays). Orders will be shipped once fully processed.
Available for in-stock items only.
If the item(s) you ordered are out of stock, please print a copy of your email confirmation and a customer care representative from one of our store locations will contact you regarding these outstanding items.
You will not be charged for items that are out of stock, unless they can be fulfilled at a later time.
All orders are subject to verification.
A signature may be required and additional charges may apply if there is more than one delivery attempt.
Orders placed by 12:00PM EST weekend/holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping options
- FedEx Standard Ground Delivery (continental U.S. only) – $9.00
- Fedex 2nd Day Air (Includes continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii) – $18.00
- Fedex Overnight Delivery (Includes continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii) – $26.00
- Fedex International (Puerto Rico only) – $26.00
- Fedex International Priority (Japan only) – $100.00
- Orders placed online are scheduled for delivery Monday – Friday. At this time, we do not deliver on Saturdays. Orders placed on a Thursday with 2nd Day Shipping will deliver on Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Products that contain flammable liquids or materials cannot be shipped via overnight or two-day service. Items must be transported via ground service.
- Shipping to P.O. Box addresses
At this time we do not ship to P.O. Box (Post Office Box) addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Certain items are restricted to Standard Ground Delivery.
- Shipping schedule
Online orders and orders made through the Concierge are shipped Monday – Friday (excluding holidays).
- International shipping is available for Japan and Puerto Rico. If you would like an order shipped to a Country not mentioned above, please contact the Personal Shopper. Please see our “Shipping Options” for International shipping costs.
After entering the shipping address, you may select your shipment method for your order. Charges will be applied depending on your shipment method selection. If you would like to waive the required signature upon delivery, please do so in the Shipping Methods section.
If you are sending a gift, please check the box marked “This order is a gift”. Gift receipts without the price will be included. You may also add a personalized message to the gift order. The message can be up to 100 characters.

Order Cancellations
How to I modify/cancel my order?
To ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible, we will begin to process your order immediately after you click the “SUBMIT ORDER” button. We are unable to modify, change or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

Promotions
Full-priced merchandise must total order minimum prior to taxes and fees. Free shipping offers are valid on ground shipments anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. Gift cards, gift box fees, shipping & handling and taxes do not qualify toward offer eligibility. Offer subject to adjustment due to returns, cancellations and exchanges. Price adjustments on previously purchased merchandise are not available. Offer valid on full-priced merchandise only unless otherwise indicated. Limit of one promo code per order. Discount cannot be combined with any other offer. Not valid on store purchases. For orders outside the U.S., taxes and duties may apply. Offer may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Return policy:
- Unused merchandise with price tickets attached may be returned within 30 days of purchase
- With the original receipt, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment
- With the original receipt, price adjustments will be honored within 10 days of the purchase and issued in the original form of payment
- With a gift receipt, a gift card will be issued
- Without a receipt, a gift card will be issued for the current selling price
- All sales on food are final
- Please be aware that items purchased in our Half to Have It flash sales are non-returnable. All flash sales are final.
We will process your refund within approximately 30 days of receiving your merchandise and we will send you an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles from the day you return your package for your account to be credited.
Upon receipt of returned goods, Henri Bendel reserves the right to deny refund if the merchandise does not meet return policy requirements. You will be refunded the shipping cost only if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
How to return an online purchase by mail:
In the event that you are not completely satisfied, we will be happy to accept your prompt return (unused merchandise only) for exchange, refund or credit to your account. To ensure proper handling of your order, be sure to do the following:
- Complete the return slip that arrived with your order and use the prepaid UPS return shipping label enclosed to ship back your items with a copy of your sales receipt. Return shipping charges in the amount of $4 will be deducted from any credit that is due to you. At this time Henribendel.com only offers UPS return labels for domestic return addresses. The customer is required to pay shipping on return orders sent from outside the U.S.
- Retain a copy of your receipt for your records until the transaction has been completed.
- Carefully repack the merchandise in the original package. Be sure to black out or cover any additional ship labels that may be on your return package.
- Take your package to a UPS drop-off location or give it to any UPS driver.
If you choose to use a different return method or you no longer have the pre-paid label we suggest you utilize a shipping option that includes tracking information and that you insure your package for the full value of the merchandise. Please ship products purchased online to the address below:

How to return an in-store purchase by mail:
To return items purchased at a Henri Bendel retail store please follow the instructions below.
To ensure proper handling of your order, be sure to do the following:
- Carefully repack the merchandise in the original package. Be sure to black out or cover any additional ship labels that may be on your return package.
- Include the following items with your return: name, address, phone number/email to contact you, details regarding your return request and the original sales receipt with your return package. Please retain a copy of your receipt for your records until the transaction has been completed.
- Ship your items to Customer Care at the address provided below. We suggest that you utilize a shipping option that includes tracking information and that you insure your package for the full value of the merchandise. Please ship products purchased online to the address below:

Gifts
- You can purchase gift cards online, please view the gift cards section for further information. Terms & Conditions: Gifts cards are issued by Henri Bendel and are redeemable for merchandise only at Henri Bendel stores, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Your gift card may not be used for payment on any credit card account, to purchase another gift card, or toward previously purchased merchandise. If your card is lost, stolen or destroyed, Henri Bendel may replace it if you provide the card number. Replacement value will be the value of the card at the time Henri Bendel receives your report of loss, theft or unauthorized use. Your card carries no expiration date. We regret you cannot currently use your gift card online.
Gift boxing:
- Our signature brown and white striped gift packaging is available for $7.00 per order. From your order, please select the items and the quantities of each item that you would like to gift box. Each item will be individually wrapped and will include the message entered at checkout. Please note gift packaging may not be available for all products at this time. If it is unavailable it will be indicated beside the product at the gift box selection at checkout as well as in the product’s description.
Complimentary gift message:
- You may choose to send a gift message at no additional cost by selecting ‘No’ on the “Shipping Options” page and by entering a message in the space provided. The message can be up to 100 characters and will appear exactly as entered in the provided field. Your message will be delivered along with your shipment.
Gift Receipts:
- All gift orders will be sent with a gift receipt.
